You deserve clarity, not confusion.
Maybe you’re:
Constantly feeling scattered, overwhelmed, or forgetful—and wondering if something deeper is going on.
Watching your child struggle in school, socially, or emotionally—and not knowing how to help.
Hearing feedback from teachers, partners, or coworkers that something “seems off.”
Working twice as hard to stay organized, follow through, or keep up with daily demands.
Frustrated by impulsivity, procrastination, emotional outbursts, or low motivation.
Seeking answers, not labels—and wanting to understand what’s going on beneath the surface.
We see you. Getting evaluated for ADHD is not about being “broken”—it’s about finding tools, answers, and support.
our approach to adhd evaluations
At Wildwood Counseling Services, we offer ADHD evaluations for children (ages 5+), teens, and adults in a supportive, neurodivergent-affirming environment. We know ADHD often goes undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, or misunderstood—especially in women, BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA+ folks, and people who’ve experienced trauma.
Our evaluations are designed to provide more than just a diagnosis—we help uncover what’s getting in the way, what’s been overlooked, and how to move forward with confidence.
An ADHD evaluation typically includes:
Clinical Interview – A deep dive into symptoms, history, and life impacts.
Standardized Rating Scales – Completed by you, parents/teachers (for children), or other relevant people.
Behavioral & Emotional Screening – To rule out or consider overlapping conditions like anxiety, trauma, or learning difficulties.
Collaborative Feedback Session – Where we break down the results in clear, understandable language and help you plan next steps.
If ADHD is diagnosed, we offer follow-up care that may include therapy, school or workplace support, and medication management through our psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), who specializes in ADHD treatment.
ADHD Evaluation can help you:
Get Answers: Understand what’s really behind the challenges you're seeing.
Access Support: Open doors to accommodations at school, work, or home.
Improve Self-Esteem: Feel empowered by knowing your brain works differently, not incorrectly.
Reduce Shame: Replace frustration with understanding and self-compassion.
Create a Plan: Know what tools, therapy, or treatment might actually help.
An evaluation isn’t about labeling- it’s about finally being seen, understood, and supported for who you are.
