Deanna Manolio, MSW, LSW

LICENSED Social Worker (SHE/HER)

A Space to Unmask and Understand Yourself

For many neurodivergent adults, life can start to make sense in a new way after a diagnosis of ADHD or autism later in life. Suddenly past experiences, struggles, and patterns begin to look different. Alongside that clarity can come grief, confusion, imposter syndrome, or the realization that you’ve spent years trying to fit into systems that weren’t built for your brain.

Deanna works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and neurodivergence, including those exploring late-diagnosed ADHD or autism. She also supports LGBTQIA+ clients who are seeking a space where authenticity and identity exploration are welcomed.

Her approach centers on connection and authenticity. Deanna believes therapy should be a place where clients don’t have to perform, mask, or pretend to have everything figured out. Instead, she creates a grounded and supportive environment where clients can show up exactly as they are and begin making sense of their experiences in a way that feels compassionate and empowering.

Deanna integrates Gestalt therapy, attachment-focused work, CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and trauma-informed care. Rather than forcing clients to work against their neurodivergence, she helps them learn how to understand their brain, work with their strengths, and build a life that feels more aligned and sustainable.

Many of the people Deanna works with have spent years feeling misunderstood or alone in their experiences. Therapy with her focuses on creating space for reflection, self-understanding, and meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and authentic.

Connection is at the heart of her work. Deanna believes that when clients feel seen and supported, they can begin to trust themselves in new ways and move toward a life that feels more honest and fulfilling.
