A Calm, Honest Space for Big Emotions and Real Change
When emotions feel overwhelming — whether it’s anxiety, behavioral struggles, self-harm, or patterns that feel difficult to manage — it can be hard to know where to start. Therapy can offer a steady place to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin building tools that actually help.
Montana works with children (ages 3+), teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, self-harm, suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. She is especially experienced in supporting neurodivergent individuals and children who are struggling with emotional regulation or behavior concerns at home or at school.
In addition to her work as a therapist, Montana also works as a school psychologist. This experience gives her a deep understanding of child development, learning differences, and the real-life challenges families and students often face in school environments.
Clients often describe Montana as empathetically direct. She brings warmth, honesty, and transparency into the therapy room, creating a space where clients can show up exactly as they are. She believes meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be real, not pressured to move faster than they’re ready. At the same time, she isn’t afraid to help clients face difficult patterns and build practical skills for managing overwhelming emotions.
Montana uses DBT-informed strategies along with supportive, neurodivergent-affirming approaches to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, build coping skills, and increase confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
She is comfortable working with complex diagnoses and situations and values supporting clients through the moments that feel the hardest.
