LICENSED Social Worker (SHE/HER)
A Steady Space for Teens to Be Heard and to Find Their Way
Nikki supports teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, school stress, relationship struggles, and emotional ups and downs. She also works with adolescents with ADHD and ODD who are learning how to manage strong emotions and build healthier patterns at home and school.
Her approach is calm, warm, and down-to-earth. Nikki creates a space where teens don’t have to pretend everything is fine—and where parents can trust their child is being supported with care and consistency. Therapy focuses on helping teens understand themselves better and develop real-life skills they can use when things feel hard.
Using CBT and DBT techniques with a trauma-informed lens, Nikki helps teens build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and communication skills. She believes growth happens when teens feel safe enough to explore what’s underneath their reactions and strong enough to try something new.
As a Black American therapist, Nikki brings a culturally responsive and affirming perspective to her work. Her background and faith guide her respect for identity, community, and spirituality in the healing process. Every teen is welcomed as they are.
Nikki’s passion comes from wanting to be the adult she once needed—someone steady, supportive, and honest. She hopes each teen leaves therapy feeling more confident, more understood, and more capable of handling life’s challenges.
