Therapy Without the Pressure to Be Perfect
Jaylyn believes therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as you are—not another space where you have to perform, improve, or have everything figured out. Some sessions may be focused on practical tools and problem-solving; others may be about venting, celebrating a win, laughing, or simply feeling understood.
She especially enjoys working with teens, young adults, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients, late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults, and mental health professionals experiencing burnout. Her areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, sleep concerns, and the impact of addiction within families. As someone diagnosed with ADHD as an adult herself, Jaylyn brings personal insight to the process of understanding how your brain works and finding strategies that actually fit.
Her style is relaxed, humorous, open, and solution-focused. She draws from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, supportive therapy, and humanistic approaches, adjusting her work based on each client’s needs. Jaylyn is validating and encouraging, while also willing to gently challenge patterns when it may help create meaningful change.
Jaylyn’s background includes outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatric care, addiction and detox treatment, and PHP/IOP programming with teens. These experiences shaped her interest in helping clients move beyond short-term stabilization and into the longer process of building confidence, recognizing patterns, and creating changes that can be maintained in everyday life.
